Terms of service

Plain terms for using this website. Your project is governed by its own written agreement.

Draft for professional review. These website terms must be reviewed by a South African legal professional and completed with Crescio's registered details before publication. Items marked [TO CONFIRM] require input. Project-specific terms are set out in each client agreement, not here.

Effective date: [TO CONFIRM] Provider: Crescio Technologies [registered entity and registration number TO CONFIRM] Contact: info@cresciotech.co.zw

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the website at cresciotech.co.za ("the website"). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Services we provide to clients (websites, software, automation, AI solutions and Crescio Care) are governed by a separate written proposal and agreement, which takes precedence over these terms for that engagement.

2. Information on the website

The website describes the services Crescio offers and shows examples of past work. Information is provided in good faith for general guidance. It is not professional advice for your particular circumstances and does not form part of any contract. Scope, timelines and prices are confirmed only in a written proposal or quotation.

Where a starting price is shown, it is an indicative starting point in South African rand (ZAR), excluding VAT where applicable [confirm VAT registration status], and subject to the written quotation for your project.

3. Enquiries and quotations

Submitting an enquiry through the website, WhatsApp or email does not create a contract. A contract is formed only when a written proposal or quotation is accepted in writing by both parties.

4. Intellectual property

The website, its design, text, graphics, logo and the Crescio name and mark are owned by Crescio or used under licence and are protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use any part of the website for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Portfolio items shown on the website belong to the respective clients and are displayed with permission for the purpose of demonstrating Crescio's work.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website to transmit unlawful, abusive or harmful content; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting or any connected system; to submit false or misleading information; or to interfere with the proper working of the website, including through automated submissions.

6. Third-party links

The website links to third-party websites, including client websites and social media platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

7. Privacy

Personal information collected through the website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the website at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 where it applies, Crescio will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or reliance on information on it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
